Not only do you get a peek into my bedroom this week, but I'm excited to share with you my favorite statement piece in my closet - the Kate Spade Mondrian Skirt. It's design is inspired by the artwork of the famous dutch painter, Piet Mondrian... you will definitely recognize his work HERE. I love this skirt because of it's incorporation of feminine gray stripes and pastel colors like pink and mint into Mondrian's classic primary color scheme of red, yellow and blue. I'm also a bit obsessed that it's a throwback to the Yves Saint Laurent Mondrian Dress circa 1965. I'm sure all my coworkers appreciate that very specific fashion fact as well when I wear it to the office...
It is no longer sold on Kate Spade, but it looks like 6PM.com has a few sizes left (and a big discount!)
